For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the consumer's domain name, but not the e-mail address (where possible).
We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations, and payment information (e.g., credit card number and billing address) if a donation or purchase is placed.
Donations/Orders:
We request information from the user on our secure online store where users may make a donation to our organization or purchase products from the store. Here a user must provide contact information (like name, billing and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date, card security code number). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders. if we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.
Donation's System:
Donor's information is saved on behalf of the organization. Organizations can login to their administrative systems to keep track of donations and payments. If the donor chooses to subscribe to the opt-in eNewsletter, donor's name and eMail will be shared with the organization's eNewsletter subscription.
The Hearth Foundation does not use any information except for contacting the donor in case of issues and disputes regarding the payments.
The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page, used by us to contact consumers for marketing purposes, and used for payment processing if a donation or purchase is made. We do not make our lists or information gleaned from our website available to any third parties.
With respect to cookies: We only use cookies to record session information, such as items that consumers add to their shopping cart.
